Terms of service

What you're agreeing to

Written to be read before you buy, not quoted at you afterwards. The cancellation rules are strict and they are stated here in full, in the same words they will be applied in.

Version 1.0 In force from 9 September 2026 Kellstar Corp

The short version

  • Before work starts, you can cancel for a full refund. No reason needed, no fee.
  • Once work has started, prepaid fees are not refundable. Not partially, not pro-rata.
  • Month to month cancels any time — it just runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
  • The prepay discount is the price of the commitment. That is why it can't be unwound.
  • Crypto payments are irreversible. Any refund owed is settled in store credit or at the rate on the day.
  • Nobody guarantees you rankings, traffic or AI citations. Anyone who does is lying.

Who this covers

These terms apply to services bought from Kellstar Corp — websites, SEO, GEO, consultations, the Business Builder, and agency pipeline engagements. Refurbished hardware from the Resell Market is covered separately by the returns and warranty policy, because physical goods work differently.

They are written for business customers. If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you may have statutory rights that override parts of this document. Those rights are not affected by anything written here.

Buying anything on this site means accepting these terms as they stand on the day you buy. They are linked from every checkout for that reason.

Paying

Prices are in US dollars and are shown in full before you pay. There are no setup fees, no account fees and nothing added at the payment step.

How you can pay

  • Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal — through Stripe's hosted checkout. Kellstar never sees or stores your card details.
  • Crypto, including Monero — as a payment request. You place the order, we send an address and a price locked at that moment, you pay, we confirm. See paying in crypto.
  • Invoice or bank transfer — on request, for larger engagements.

Ongoing work

Month-to-month services are charged monthly in advance until cancelled. Prepaid terms — 3, 6 or 12 months — are charged once, in full, at the start. Nothing renews automatically at the end of a prepaid term; you choose whether to continue.

The discount is the deal. A prepaid term costs less per month than month-to-month because the commitment has value to us — it lets work be planned and subcontractors booked ahead. That discount is what you are exchanging the flexibility for, and it is why a prepaid term cannot later be treated as if it had been month-to-month.

When work has started

This is the single most important definition in this document, because almost everything about refunds turns on it. Work has started at the earliest of:

  1. the kickoff call taking place;
  2. any deliverable being begun — research, drafting, a technical audit, design, code, or an outreach list being built;
  3. a subcontractor, tool subscription or third-party service being engaged or paid for on your behalf;
  4. five business days after your payment clears, whether or not you have responded to us.

That last one exists because we hold capacity for you from the moment you pay. If it were not there, an engagement could be paid for, left untouched for months, and then cancelled — with the capacity gone and nothing to show for it.

We will tell you in writing when work has started. If you want to delay the start, say so before you pay and we will hold the date.

Cancelling and refunds

Before work starts

Cancel for any reason and get everything back. No fee, no explanation required, no time limit other than that work has not yet started as defined above. Email and it is done.

After work starts

Fees already paid are not refundable once work has started. Not in part, not pro-rata, and not on the unused portion of a prepaid term.

This is not a negotiating position. Delivery is scheduled, capacity is reserved and subcontractors are booked against the money as soon as it arrives, and none of that is recoverable when an engagement stops early.

By the length of what you bought

What you boughtCancellingWhat you get back
Month to month Any time, effective at the end of the month you have paid for Nothing for the current month — it is already being worked. Nothing further is charged.
3 months, prepaid Any time — work stops when you say so Nothing, once work has started
6 months, prepaid Any time — work stops when you say so Nothing, once work has started
12 months, prepaid Any time — work stops when you say so Nothing, once work has started
One-off build or consultation Any time before delivery Nothing, once work has started

Cancelling a prepaid term stops the work. It does not return the money, and it does not convert the remaining months into credit unless we agree in writing that it does.

Goodwill

Kellstar may, entirely at its own discretion, offer credit against future work where circumstances warrant it. This is a choice made case by case. It is not a right, it does not set a precedent, and it cannot be relied on or demanded.

If Kellstar stops the work

We may end an engagement, immediately and in writing, if:

  • your business ceases trading, enters insolvency or is wound up;
  • continuing would be unlawful, or would breach a platform's rules;
  • you ask us to do something dishonest — fake reviews, invented credentials, manufactured case studies, or claims about results we cannot substantiate;
  • the working relationship has broken down to the point where the work cannot be done properly;
  • payment for an ongoing engagement is not made when due.

Where work has already started, fees already collected are not returned in these situations either. The work was scheduled, the capacity was held and the costs were committed. That does not reverse because the engagement ended early, whatever the reason it ended.

Where work has not started and we end an engagement, you get a full refund.

You keep everything already delivered and paid for, in every case. We will hand over finished work, access and files rather than hold them.

Paying in crypto

Crypto is accepted on everything, including Monero. It works as a payment request rather than an instant checkout:

  1. You place the order and choose crypto as the payment method.
  2. We send you an address and an amount, with the price locked to the US dollar total at that moment.
  3. The quote holds for one hour. After that the amount is recalculated, because the rate has moved.
  4. You pay. Once it confirms, the order proceeds exactly as a card order would — including earning points.

Crypto payments cannot be reversed. That is the trade you are making: no chargeback, no intermediary, no card processor with an opinion about the transaction. It also means a mistake cannot be undone by us. Check the address and the amount.

Monero specifically: because Monero transactions are private, we cannot look up your payment on a public explorer the way we can with Bitcoin. If a payment needs confirming, you may be asked for the transaction key or a payment proof from your wallet. Keep it until the order is complete.

Each order gets its own address. Sending to an address from a previous order, or sending a different amount than quoted, will delay things and may need manual sorting out.

Where a refund is owed on a crypto order — which, per the section above, means the work had not started — it is settled either as store credit at the original dollar value, or in crypto at the exchange rate on the day the refund is issued. Not the rate on the day you paid. We are not in a position to absorb the difference either way, so it is stated plainly.

What we do and don't promise

What we commit to

  • The work described, delivered to a professional standard.
  • Being told what is actually happening, including when it isn't going well.
  • Straight measurement — real numbers from real tools, never a figure we made up to look good.

What nobody can promise, including us

No guarantee of rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or citations in AI answers. Search engines and language models change their behaviour constantly and answer to nobody. Any agency that guarantees a position or a result is either misleading you or planning to game something in a way that will eventually cost you.

What we do commit to is the work itself, done properly, measured honestly, and reported without decoration.

Your side

Some of this only works if you hold up your end: access to accounts and analytics, answers to questions, feedback within a reasonable time, and approval when it is needed. Delays on your side move the schedule and do not extend a prepaid term.

Who owns what

Once an engagement is paid for in full, you own the deliverables produced specifically for you — the site, the copy, the content, the audit, the reports. They are yours to keep, change, or take elsewhere.

Kellstar keeps ownership of its own methods, templates, internal tooling and anything built before or outside your engagement. You get the output, not the machinery.

We may describe the work in general terms as an example of what we do. We will not publish your figures, your internal information, or your name as a client without asking you first.

Chargebacks and disputes

If something is wrong, say so. Most problems are a conversation, and most conversations end with the problem fixed.

Raising a chargeback instead of contacting us is a breach of these terms. Work stops immediately, access is suspended, and the outstanding balance becomes due. These terms — including the cancellation rules above — are presented at checkout and your acceptance is recorded, and that record is what we will provide to the card network.

This is not us being difficult. A chargeback on delivered work takes the work and the money, and a one-person business cannot absorb that.

Liability

Kellstar's total liability for any engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost business, or loss of data — arising from the services.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The version that applies to your engagement is the version in force on the day you bought, and a later change does not alter what you already agreed to. The version number and date are at the top of this page.

For an ongoing month-to-month service, a change takes effect from your next billing date, and you will be told before it does.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY — fill this in], and any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of that jurisdiction.

This is a plain-English document, not legal advice. It was written to be read and understood by the people it applies to, and it says what Kellstar actually does. Before it is relied on for anything substantial, have a solicitor or attorney in your jurisdiction review it — particularly the sections on cancellation and liability, and particularly if you are selling to consumers rather than to businesses, where statutory rights may override what is written here.
